Pixelated Images with Savannah O'Gwynn

Hello, friends:}
Savannah O'Gwynn here today sharing how I created a pixelated image using the Paper Smooches Cross Stitch die

I love this die sooooooo much! I have so many ideas for it that don't include stitching! One day I will share my ideas:) I actually shared a similar design for the CardMaker + Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog hop {HERE} at the beginning of November. Many of you wanted more details so I thought I would make a video!

Here's the video *****Be sure to change your settings to HD before watching! THANKS!

I hope that you are inspired to try making some pixelated images using foam tape, glitter (or flocking!!!), and your Cross Stitch die

And remember to link up your creations to our Inspired By Virtual Smooches post!!!

10-ish Minute Cards with Savannah O'Gwynn

Hello, friends:}

Savannah O'Gwynn here today sharing how I create a quick and easy card in 10 minutes or less.... well, that's the goal
😜

I was challenged by the CardMaker editor to create some easy cards, and I decided to make a process video to prove that I did in fact make a card under 10 minutes. Funny thing is that I stopped the clock and then added twine! It took less than thirty seconds so I was still under the 10 minute mark! LOL!

Here's the video *****Be sure to change your settings to HD before watching! THANKS!

I hope that you are inspired by my quick and easy cards, and that you will try some of my tips and tricks for your next creation! I know I didn't really follow my own advice for my creations... but I can guarantee that if YOU do, then you will have more success than I did:) LOL!

And remember to link up your creations to our Inspired By Virtual Smooches post if you are inspired by anything you see on our education blog!!!

Creating a Base for Line Art Dies with Savannah O'Gwynn

Hello, friends:}

Savannah O'Gwynn here today sharing a quick video on how to create bases for line art dies!

Line art dies are die cuts that create line outlines. Here's a couple of samples: Dinosaur, Kind Bear, Pineapple 2

The easiest way to create a base is to "emboss and cut" this die cut image. Check out my video for how I do this! *****Be sure to change your settings to HD before watching! THANKS!
I hope that you are inspired to create your own bases for your Paper Smooches line art dies! Remember to link up your creations to our Inspired By Virtual Smooches post so I can check them out!!!

I jokingly say that I don't think there is a bible verse about that- but I KNOW there is! LOL!

Here's the video *****Be sure to change your settings to HD before watching! THANKS!

Bible Journaling #2 {1 Cor. 16:14} with Savannah O'Gwynn

Hello, friends:}
Savannah O'Gwynn here today sharing a process video for my latest bible journaling page that was inspired by a DaySpring home decor piece.

For my page, I used an old homemade stencil that I created for two other Virtual Smooches vides HERE and HERE. I love that this stencil is reusable! And I love the placements of the hearts:)

This verse/page is a reminder to me that I need to do ALL things in love. Sometimes my flesh wins and I'm selfish wanting gain or approval or I want control. I also might try to manipulate the situation or people... that's not how I want to be. I want to be God-controlled and do things (even things I don't want to do) in LOVE

Here's the video *****Be sure to change your settings to HD before watching! THANKS!
Here's my sweet little friend, Eda- she created some beautiful colored pages for my bible, as well as the green washi tape finger puppets in my video! LOL! :) Age is not a factor when crafting, creating, or learning about God!

I hope that you are inspired to create your own stencil using Paper Smooches dies--- or that you will create a bible journaling page for 1 Corinthians 16:14!!! Remember to link up your creations to our Inspired By Virtual Smooches post!!!

Bible Journaling with Savannah O'Gwynn

Hello, friends:}
Savannah O'Gwynn here today sharing a fun start-to-finish video and bible journaling entry.

I really enjoy using my
PS stamps and dies to make the Word come alive. It really helps me remember what I've read, letting the Truth permeate my mind, heart, and soul.

Today's verse comes from Exodus 27. I mention in the video about going to Israel and seeing the olive press machine- it was so large! It amazes me what people back then used and created- this machine is high-tech (on a whole other level! LOL!)! I share 3 photos of the olive press, but I don't explain what you are looking at... so here's a short explanation: the large circle rock is pushed around by a donkey to make the machine work; there are three very large and heavy stones hanging from a wooden beam- the donkey makes these move up and down to press the olives; each stone is used for each level of pressing (i.e. the first stone is used for the first pressing, stones one and two are used for the second pressing, etc). I hope this makes sense- if not then we will have to visit Israel together;) I can't wait to go back!!!

Here's the video *****Be sure to change your settings to HD before watching! THANKS!
Paper Smooches stamps: Smoocheroos

Here are a couple of other bible journaling pages that I've completed using various PS stamps/dies.
I also used my PS stamps/dies to create some clip decorations- you can check out my how-to videos HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE!
I hope that you are inspired get into the Word and to use your PS stamps/dies for bible journaling or book art! ANNNNNNNNNNND I forgot!!!!!!! This journaling page is perfect for the February "love" themed challenge- I've got pink and hearts on my project! LOVE it! I hope you will join in the fun with the PS February challenge!
